Both of my girls bathed in baby baths, until they started trying to get out and fight me every time they got in- so then I bathed with them for a few months. Once they were fully sitting up and confident with sitting up, then I just put them into shallow water to sit and bathe and I sat next to the tub. Noah hasn't needed to bathe with anyone yet, so he's never bathed with us. I don't know if he'll need to- he's doing pretty well. We got one of those "bath circle" things that holds him up and is pretty good. He also likes to play with the little toys attatched to it and splash in the water.

Too funny....I was just wondering this myself. I do not bathe with my dd. I guess it doesn't bother me if other people do, but I am just not that comfortable with it. I don't know why. I breastfed and I change in front of dd so she sees me nude, but I just don't feel compelled to bathe with her.

I just did this last night. I am a water person and wanted to soak a little bit anyways, so I got in a splashed with Kaylee and she seemed to enjoy it. She normally bathes on her own. Sometimes if we want to get her bathed quick, DH and I hop in the shower with her and bathe her that way. I think it is natural and if you are comfortable with it, go for it!

BTW, she is 11 months. I am sure at some point it I will not be comfortable with it anymore.

I have bathed with my boys before but I don't with trace anymore. he's 2 and a half now so i don't think thats approriate but Blakey still gets in with me sometimes. Especially if I'm in a big rush or He's sick, I'll throw him in with me so it goes quicker.
