If it was me in your shoes, I would page my OB and go to the ER. Better to be safe than sorry.
Bleeding and cramps during pregnancy are common and many times it doesn't affect the baby...BUT...better to be safe than sorry.
I must have gone to the ER at least 6 times during my last pregnancy because of strange cramps, feelings, spotting, etc. But I have previous issues that both my OB and I knew of and she told me that if ANYTHING felt out of place to go to the ER immediately.
Just for my own piece of mind I went. Nothing eased my mind better than hearing and seeing my DD's heartbeat beating steadily or to see her on US doing just fine.
