There was a baby at church that always played with his mother's hair. He would stroke it between his fingers when he was as young as 2-3 months old and did this until he was 3 yo. It used to drive her crazy.

My oldest always wanted to hold my pinky when he nursed - no matter what. This one is probably my fault because I used to play with his hands when he nursed.

I also know a baby that would "click" his tongue when he got excited! It was kind of cute, but I can see where it might be a problem.

Any more little habits?

My ds would twirl my hair with his fingers when he nursed. When I finally MADE him stop nursing at 2, it was the only way he could go to sleep, so I still would lie down with him and let him twirl my hair.

My daughter would pinch the side of my boob when she was nursing. Ouch! Then I managed to move her little hand to one of my arms. For awhile, she would twist and pinch my arm as she fell asleep. Ouch again. Finally, she comforted herself by rubbing my earlobes. She still does this when she's not feeling well or she's super sleepy. I'll lay down next to her and she'll rub my earlobes until she's asleep. It's soooo much better than the pinching.

I can't remember any my daughter did but Logan (at 3 months) seems to think of my hair as a handle! I'll be carrying him and he takes his left hand and attaches it to my hair, just behind my ear. It's kind of cute when it doesn't hurt so much!
