Good Morning America talked about lead in lipsticks this am. There is no FDA standard for the amount that can be in lipstick, and many name brands have it. Ask your doctor if he/she thinks it is a problem to be concerned about. Lead can lead to problems with brain development.

Here is an article I came accross...I think ALL of these lead problems that we've had here in the USA don't really have much to do with China IN GENERAL, it has to do with the USA not holding the right standards for the US consumers.

This is not just a problem for preg. women...it's a problem for all women who wear lipstick and all little girls who wear it and lip gloss as well! Toys with lead are a HUGE problem, don't get me wrong!!!! BUT, this is a product MADE for our lips! It's almost certain that it gets into our digestive system!
