I am 16 weeks pregnant and had Braxton Hicks off and on for about 5 hours today. They were lasting anywhere from 10-30 secs. I tried all the usual, drinking water, changing positions. I had them through out my last pregnancy, but I don't remember them starting this early. Anyone else experience this?

I have 4 daughters and always begin contracting early (around 20 wks) they tell me it is normal, but my rule of thumb is if you think about it more than once call your doctor, it never hurts! I am sure you are fine.

CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!!! I had lots of problems with pre-term labor. You can never be too safe.

Thanks for the advice, I haven't had any today. The day before I had a flu shot and TB test done (I work at a hospital and it is mandatory) I don't know if this brought it on, or just stress!
