My baby will only be 5 months old at Christmas time. This list of presents is a combination of what we will be getting her and what her grandparents will be getting her.

- Lego Baby Shape Sorter blocks
- Lego Baby Train
- Old MacDonald Board Book
- Plastic Squeaky Blocks
- Booster seat with tray
- Up Up Elmo
- Soft Baby Doll like a Baby Stella
- Go Baby Go Sit to Stand Giraffe by Fisher Price
- clothes
+ a few other small things

I won't have to get her to much because we have most of her sister's old toys and most of the traditional preschool learning toys.

We're getting both of our kids a swing set for the backyard.
This should suffice!

That's what we so need, a swingset/slide thing. Too pricey.

Little diva wants a bicycle and a scooter. She keeps trying to get on her big brother's (unused) scooter and bikes. She loves her tricycle, but hasn't learned how to pedal yet. Plus, we live on a hill!! No dolls. Nope. Race cars, yes. But she has plenty of her big brother's that never got played with. I think she'd love a kitchen set. Oh. And she wants her own desk like big brother has to do her "homework" at like he does.

And a puppy dog. Nope on that one.

If you don't mind a metal swing set visit your local Walmart and K-mart. When you are ther talk to a manager about when they plan on selling the full size floor model. My Dad got one for my daughter for $25 !!

So far we've bought her two outfits, and we're going to get Ratatouille and one toy. That's from us. If Grandparents or anyone else asks, she needs jeans and 12-18 month shoes. Toooo many toys in our house.

I'm actually still trying to figure this one out. I'm obviously gonna simply wrap up some of her diapers and other things but I want to get a few things just for her to enjoy. She'll be turning a year in January but I haven't a clue on how she will change in the coming year. I mean, I'm still looking at rattles and things like that. I am sooo lost. Any suggestions?

My youngest will be 2 in a few weeks. For her first Christmas, I bought her the Fisher Price Aquarium for her crib. She still loves it.

For a one year old, I would recommend any kind of nesting or stacking toys, big blocks or mega blocks, shape sorters, ride-on toys, anything they can walk & push. The Imaginarium blocks (big cardboard blocks) are a daily favorite at our house.

The bounce & spin zebra was a flop last year. It was cool for 2 minute toy then started collecting dust.

Tumble time Tigger was also a bust.

i want to buy my daughter (10 months at Christmas) a toy she can walk and push, and maybe some blocks and clothes. i don't want her to have a lot of toys, because we (the parents) will regret that later. i'm just trying to convince friends and family of the same thing...

My dd just turned 1 year and she got for her birthday a elmo purse (it's hard) with a cell phone, lipstick, comb and coin purse inside and she loves it. She loves taking them all out and then putting them back in. We also got a fisher price laugh and learn chair. She loves it. My mom got her a fisher price peek-a-block icrediblock off craigslist for half the price of new and she can't get enough of that either.

My neighbor's have a bounce and spin zebra and their dd loves it. We got one used from craigslist she doesn't want to get on yet, but loves to stand next to it and play. We put it away for now and will probably be giving it to her again at Christmas.

I don't know what we will get her for Christmas since she just had a birthday. We'll have to wait and see.
