Just wondering if anyone knows how long you should be off of the pill before getting pregnant?

I have heard that the hormones in the pill leave your body as soon as you stop taking it so it is safe to get pregnant right away but I could be wrong. I got pregnant with ds the month after I stopped taking it and everything was fine in my case.

and I was pregnant with my son a month and a half after I quit taking birth control pills. I had taken them for 5 years.

Same here I took the pill for almost four years, stopped it and was pregnant right away. I never got my period again. My dh says I'm as fertile as Idaho
