There is a female model named Hunter Tylo. Incidentally her teenage son just drowned in a pool in Las Vegas last week...

I know of a woman who wanted to name her daughter Abernathy (ick!).

I have a Merrick and I did not know it was vampire, so I assume that not too many other people would either, or else it does not bother them. He is almost 9 yrs old and this is the first time I ever heard that!

As in Bold and the Beautiful's Hunter Tylo? Is it one of her children with Michael Tylo? I remember watching him on Guilding Light in the 80s. How sad! I didn't know that!

Some of those mentioned I don't find all that odd. I never thought Merrick was odd, just old fashioned. If it was a girl I would find it odd.

I have an adult friend named Camy. I guess it is short for Catherine in certain parts of the US.

There is a sweet girl down the street named Hunter. I do think of a boy first time I see the name though.

Hunter Tylo (yes, the one from B&B) was born Deborah Moreheart. She chose the Hunter moniker in the 80s (you would barely recognize her in the pictures, she's had so much surgery). She and Micheal Tylo are now divorced. Their son looked so much like him. She's had her share of tragedy, that's for sure. They are running toxicity tests, which implies there is more to the story. How sad.

My mom is an RN for a NICU and she has run across quite a few interesting names. The only ones I can think of right now are:
ABCD (pronounced ABSADEE)
Theone (pronounced 'The 1' (as in the #))

...

My pastor's wife is named Eve Ellen. Not so unusal, but I have never heard it before.
I have a grand niece named Keeley and one named Christionna. My DGD's middle name is Montana. I know a baby girl that is named Keagan. I have heard it for a boy but not a girl.

One of my boys middle names is Anakin - yes after Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars.

If I'm ever lucky enough to have a girl her middle name will be Amrah. (the name of a character in M. M. Kaye's novel Tradewinds).
