9 more days.... EEEEK!!!

Third C-section? wow I wish I have your courage. I only had two. I"m scared of going through another one. I know what you meant with the "spinal" thing believe me it did flip me out too. I hated the feeling of something being inserted on my back. . You will be okay. Before you know it its over. I don't think anyone going through a major surgery is going to be a calm patient person. I wouldn't be. It scares me to death. Its normal though. Good luck.

Oh My Gosh! That spinal tap freaked me out too! I thought I was the only one and I couldn't explain it to my husband but there is such a loss of control when you can't just move you legs when you feel like it. I keep trying to pick them up, I don't know why and when I couldn't I started feeling trapped and freaked out, my heart rate was increasing. The nurse had to pick up each leg and bend it for me. Then my husband started praying and I just felt peace. The rest of the c-section was so calm, waaaaaaaaaaaayy better than an emergency c-section like I had with my first baby. But I had to get over that crazy feeling first. I freak out whenever I don't feel total control over my body, like at the dentist, I start to get paranoid when they are doing work and I can't swallow at will, I start pushing my tongue up and getting jerking. A few times they had to stop and let me swallow!!!
