Wow, time flies! I'm getting nervous now that the c-section is approaching. I'm not worried about the pain, I'm just....just....it just seems like I'm not quite ready. I still have stuff to get done, and I'm dreading the whole hospital stay. Last minute jitters I guess!

I had a c sec with both children. The pain won't come until after it's done and it is easily controlled with the medicine they give you. As for the stay, rest as much as you can! Once you get home you won't get any rest like it!

My thoughts are with you. I had both of my boys by c-section also. Just hang in there soon you'll reap the beautiful reward of a sweet lil baby. I could only imagine what it would be like to have a baby in the Holiday season. It would be difficult. I had my sons in the good ole summertime which can be a bit uncomfortable too. I hated being in the hospital also. There's no place like home. I think we all get those jitters when the time gets closer and closer to finally delivering a baby.

I bet you are getting nervous!! Just focus on the fact that in eleven days you will no longer be pregnant!! I'm sure you are getting to the point of misery (I got there at about 7 months when I was pregnant! lol)

Have ya'll decided on a name yet? If I remember correctly, ya'll found a somewhat unusual middle name that ya'll were considering......can you announce it yet?

Good Luck!! Get as much rest as you can the next 11 days!

I trully know how you feel. I had mine about three weeks ago. I was calm for a little bit until Thursday night I was counting hours and minutes while I was laying in the hospital bed. I had 1 hour of sleep then Friday morning I had my C-section. I was scared and nervous at the same time. I was shaking the whole time. I didn't cry though but scared as heck. DH was there with me telling me it was okay before I know it everything was done. Plan C-section though is much better than emergency so you will recover faster. Its not going to be easy but like I said its going to be okay. I've been there twice and believe me you will get through it. Good luck to you and think about recovering and seeing your precious angel after all that is done. Remember you are not the only one going through a C-section in the world at the same. I'm sure there are a lot of people too.

Thanks for the words of encouragement and support! This will be my 3rd c-section and I hate not being able to move (when they give you the spinal.) It really flips me out!

I'm trying to stay focused on the important stuff - holding the little fella for the first time, seeing what color his hair is (my oldest two have blonde hair & blue eyes, while my third one has brown hair & blue eyes - so we're excited to see his hair color!) and finally putting this surgery behind me!!!

9 more days.... EEEEK!!!
