I have PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome and as I want to have another baby, I am on a natural fertility medicine from my Naturopath.

I have been a little down as it hasn't seem to be working, I was saying to DH that we have to start thinking about DD possibly being an only child. My last cycle was 108 days long.

Fortunatly I mensurated this month so now Im back to Day 1.

Sorry for the rambling but the long, windy road to motherhood (again) is just as hard the second time as the first.

Anyone esle in the same boat as me?

There are a lot of ladies on the board w/ PCOS, including me. I think most of them took Clomid to get pregnant. I think a lot of folks have good luck with that. And if you really want another baby, you could adopt. My cousin has PCOS and is in the process of adopting. A good friend also adopted & then got pregnant on her own 6 months later.

Hey! I was in the same boat you were in too. My husband and I tried still fro 3 years. I took Chlomid and it didn't seem to work, so my last month on Chlomid we started looking into adoption thinking that we could never get pregnant. We basically gave up and then that same month we found out we were pregnant for our first child! I am now due on Feb 24th and having a baby girl. I know it is really hard and this is what everyone says but just relax and not think about it for a while. It really does work. I think the stress of knowing that when we had sex we were trying to conceive was the problem because once we didn't think about it anymore here it is! Hang in there! I know how you feel!

Hi! No PCOS here, but it took 18+ months for dd #1.... it does suck, and I am sorry you are down in the dumps.

Are you on a low carb diet for your PCOS?

Glad though to hear you are on cycle day #1, as it means there is a new start!

Take care, hugs

Thanks for the support girls, the thing is I know that the herbs work because that how we got DD.

With DD, we didn't know that the herbs would make us pregnnat so now I think Im impatient for the to work. I know I need to loosen up and relax a bit.

I don't have PCOS so I can't offer any wisdom with that, but we've been trying for 2 years to have another child and still nothing. I have found a lot of relief with doing fertility charting; have you tried that? Babydust to you! I know what it's like to long for another

I don't have PCOS either, but we have been trying for 20 months, with 2 miscarriages in the last year. It's frustrating, disappointing and depressing. I am going to a specialist on the 10th of December.
I hope everything works out for you guys!!!

I couldn't have said it better myself. It does suck. It is day 33 of my cycle and I haven't ovulated yet and it looks like I probably won't. It's hard to "try" when you don't even feel like you can try because your ovulation is all messed up!

Amanda, I have been charting but my temps are so over the place its hard to read.
I have the feeling that if I O, its good and if I fall pregnant its wonderful. My naturopath is confused with the temp ups and downs too.

Ava's Mommy, Im so sorry for your loss. I haven't lost a baby so I can't imagine th pain you must be feeling.

(hugs). PCOS here too. TTC was horrible but hang in there. I know it finally happened for once once i truely gave up that it would ever happen. For me, it was the stress level of thinking about it non-stop that made it so hard.
