Hi! DD is 8 wks old and for the last 3-4 days all she wanted to do was nurse and be held, now today she has slept all day, just to wake up and eat, and go back to na night land.... growth spurt??

Yup deffinately sounds like a growth spurt! They normally say between 6-8 weeks everything changes and they hit a big growth spurt. So this sounds about right.

thanks! A little reassurance is so nice... I keep checking on her to make sure she is ok. You'd think I'd be more relaxed since she is my 2nd, but mommies never stop worrying about thier children!

Definitely could be a growth spurt, but watch it, because they do it, too, when they are getting sick. And sometimes they just need a little extra mommy time.
