Well, I posted a ? and thought dd was going through a growth spurt..nope she's sick... I had to take her in on SUn with a slight fever and now she has a cough. Poor little thing "toots" everytime she coughs. My #1 dd never got sick til she was like 7 months so this is so new to me, she is so little to be sick. Doesn't help that her sister has a double ear infection an broncitos too.

Any advice from mommy's on the little one? She wants to be held, to everything is on hold....

Just hold her and love her. You may have to sleep with her. I always did (and do with the 2 1/2 YO) when my girls were sick when they were little.

Keep her upright, or at least inclined, and try Vick's vapor rub. Take care of yourself as well -- you don't want to get sick. Good luck!

Two sick children... you poor thing. I know how you feel. My first child didn't get sick until she was 10 months so the 2nd time it was new to have a sick baby. Melsb gave you good advice. If she likes the bouncer, you may want to try to have her sleep there to keep her upright. You can put the bouncer in the crib if you are worried about her being on the floor. I would also use a cool mist humidifier if you don't already have one running. I liked the Little Remedies products for infants. The saline spray & aspirator worked well for me. The aspirator isn't as scary as the one they give you at the hospital. Little Remedies - Little Noses Stuffy Nose Kit They carry these products at CVS also.
