Yikes! I am 9 weeks tomorrow (ultrasound showed 10 on Monday, but whatever) and I feel like I am already expanding! My pants are feeling tight and I tried on some old maternity clothes tonight and they were such relief! Seriously, could I already be at that point? I didn't wear maternity clothes with DS until I was somewhere between 15-20 weeks along. This is crazy! I have gained 2 lbs. so not enough to make a difference in my clothes. Let me add, I am not a small woman. I know very petite women show sooner, but that I am not. I needed to lose 10-15lbs before I got pregnant. My stomach is very blobby and yucky. What's the deal? Did anyone else experience this so soon?

PS- My sister swears I am showing already.

I showed really early with my pregnancies. I had to start wearing maternity clothes at 8 weeks or so. I think it's common for you to show earlier with second pregnancies, too.

I started showing earlier with my second pregnancy. I think your body just knows what's coming so it relaxes earlier than with the first one.

I had to start wearing my maternity pants earlier this second pregnancy. My waist was not as little as it was before DS#1. I too wish I had lost and toned things down a little more, but I think I will focus on that after this baby!!

The smaller maternity pants let me breath a little more. Also, I remember wearing my regular clothes longer last time.....but with safety pins in tact to expand.

It was in the back of my mind 'why bother getting back in shape when you are just going to get pregnant again?' I am pretty sure I am done after this baby and I WILL get back in shape! I am relieved that other people have had to wear maternity this early. I may not be able to keep this a secret as long as I wanted!

I also started wearing maternity clothes earlier the second time around. Some of it was due to bloating I think. Either way, it's perfectly normal.

So is everything going well now with your pregnancy?

Thanks for asking! We got another ultrasound last Friday and the tear is resolving. Yeah!! We breathed a huge sigh of relief. It is not yet resolved and the dr. told me to keep taking it easy, not lifting etc. But he said he was very confident that things would be okay. I am wondering if this is bloating too b/c it came on so suddenly. Maybe too much salt at Christmas? Maybe just too much food in general!

Hey mama, I'm just a few days behind you 8weeks here and a few days..

I noticed I look majorly bloated lately.... With DS #1 I did not start showing till I was about 4 months LOL... So its weird to be wearing maternity clothing already

With my 4th child I think I started showing before I even realized I was pregnant (he was a wonderful surprise).
