What are your favorite books or websites on pregnancy? I would rather not google, and find millions, I would rather get it from MOMMYSAVERS.

THANK YOU IN ADVCANCE

My favorite book by far was "Pregnancy Sucks". I also liked the "Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy".

I never finished "What to Expect when you are expecting" or the "Pregnancy Week by Week" - both too dry, boring, and every chapter mainly tells you not to gain weight and freaked me out with problems. I also couldn't get through "What to Eat When You are Expecting". I'm sure some LOVED these books, but I just couldn't get through them - and I read anything from shampoo bottles to the phonebook.

I have the "what to expect whenb you are expecting" book. I read it a lot in the begining, but not so much anymore. It's ok...just not so entertaining. I thought the Jenny McCarthy book Belly Laughs was really funny. she tells it like it is. I read it when we were TTC and I lent it to a friend. Have not gotten it back yet, but I want to re-read it now that I am halfway along. one of my fave websites is I am pregnant it is full of info & you can post messages under each topic. There are other websites that I end up on, but can't think of the names right now (on DH laptop so i can't check). I get weekly emails from i THINK babycenter.com? not sure though. but they are fun to get each week & see how the baby is developing.

It's not really a pregnancy book, but I recommend Baby Bargains by Denise and Alan Fields to everyone I can. The writing style is a little hard to swallow (cute at first, but it gets old quickly), but the information is top notch. With chapters on everything from cribs to strollers to maternity clothes to diapers, it reviews different types and brands of products, tells you what is a good bargain and what is a waste of money, and even what kind of store (i.e. grocery, Babies R Us, Sam's club) is the best place to buy certain items.
It's one book that I think is worth buying rather than just borrowing from the library. I think the newest edition is 2007.
