I can't remember if a baby should start not breastfeeding as often when they get closer to three months. It seems my son is not eating every two hours like he once was. Is this normal? He doesn't seem sick or anything. It gets overtired which causes him to be fussy. How often are your babies feeding?

I think, and no one jump on me if I'm wrong, but I think by about 2 months the baby is getting into their own routine on feedings. And they all are different - so what works for your baby may not work for mine. But as long as they are gaining weight and are having wet and dirty diapers on a regular schedule - I believe everything is fine.

But remember, whenever in doubt, call your doctor!

This is the important part!

All babies are different. However, your baby is at an age when you will see big changes in him. He'll be more alert and "play" more. Your milk is also changing to meet his needs. So, his nursing patterns may change as well.

Just keep an eye on his weight and diapies. As long as things seem fine there, he's in good shape!

all babies are different, and whatever your baby is doing is right for them. Also this age is prime growth spurt time and they will nurse more around those times.

Thank you for all your replies. He has plenty of dirty diapers and is thriving. So, he must be on his own schedule for feeding
