I'm sorry, I know this is probably a gross question to ask, but I'm at my wits end! I'm 7 months pregnant and my boobs are enormous, sore and leaking like crazy, especially from the left side. Enormous and sore aren't fun but the leaking is bothering me the most...I'm soaking right through my bra and shirts Is all that leakage normal? Any ideas on how to decrease it? I was so embarrassed at the grocery store when I looked down to type my pin into the machine at checkout and noticed the HUGE wet circle on my boob. I felt so bad for the guy at the register, who was trying so hard to pretend he didnt notice!

Yes, that's normal. Some women don't leak at all until labor starts or after baby has arrived, but there are those who leak while pregnant. My advice would be use nursing pads and keep a clean shirt with you in the vehicle.
Good luck and congrats on the baby.

I started leaking at 6 months - at night. I didn't know WHAT was going on, all I knew was the bed was wet, and I couldn't figure how it was wet THAT high up, ya know.

I just got some nice soft nursing pads, and wear those. My biggest problem is at night still, especially trying to keep them on (I can't find bras that fit my new twins - 36G - so I wear camisole shelf bra things, 24/7). The pads shift sometimes at night and it gets messy, but during the day, they work great!

Definitely the nursing pads and try a wireless sports bra to keep in place while you sleep. Frankly the sports bra helped me with back pains as well at 7+ months.

Bravado makes some great nursing bras...call some maternity shops or check out their website for local stores or you can buy online. I like Lansinoh pads the best. They absorb quite a bit.

Thank you all so much for the help...the leaking was really freaking me out! I'll definitely try the sports bra at night and the nursing pads (last night I slept with tissues in my bra...what a flashback to junior high LOL) Thank you all again for the help, it's also a huge relief to know I'm not the only one

Oh do I remember this! Now and then I even resorted to folding socks in half and shove them in my nursing bra because I found they were more absorbant than the pads I had. (strange, but it worked) I can understand your embarassment with the leakage. I always had leaking issues in public places like grocery stores or going in to see DH at work (with only guys that worked with him) and in church.
