yep, this is me....
but my daughter is 7 and we have been trying since she was 6 months with no.
I have had test done and been on clomid and had a DNC to clean me out and still nothing.
I am going to make hubby an appt. for next month and see where that gets us
I get the same advice, "get drunk, stop trying" and I am tired of hearing it. It is so depressing but we keep plugging along. I want to have one by the time I turn 30, so I only have a year and a half for that. Hopefully we will have a baby soon...

Good luck to y'all

Thank you Bekah for your story! It's so important to learn from other moms who have been there, especially those who have gone through it years ago, b/c it's so apparent how much a child's loss can bless a family in the long run. I can already see how I have changed as a mother to my son. I am a different person now. Death is suddenly very real to me, something that can happen at any time. I used to worry so much about everything, but her passing has put a lot of things into perspective. I still fall into the trap of worrying, however, especially when it comes to future pregnancies and fertility, but I take one look at my DH and Jack and I know that everything will be ok.

I'm sailin' right along with ya. We've been trying for over 2 years now with nothing. I just started fertility charting a couple months ago, but December was a bust with the holidays and all 3 of us getting sick one right after another. I have no clue whether I've even ovulated and have no idea when my period will come, so I have to just take my temp every morning and see if my temp drops. If not, I have no idea when it would be worth taking a test.. I really screwed it up this time! LOL I'll just take it as it comes I suppose. I do know that once I started fertility charting, I was more at ease; the window of anxiety was cut down severely and I was able to find joy at all stages of my cycle. I could have an alcoholic beverage if I knew I wasn't anywhere near ovulating, I could pinpoint when I'd get my period.. It helped a lot. Don't feel like you're a loser. There is such a gamut of emotions when trying to conceive - they are all normal and you should allow yourself to feel every single one of them. Imagine how much joy will surge through you when you finally get pregnant!

Wow, thanks for sharing your stories ladies!! It makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one out there struggling with this. I love my ds and cherish every day I have with him, but I do have that yearning for a second child (I heard an explanation one time that it "makes my uterus hurt", weirdly true statement) I hope we can all be successful soon
There are some days I am so thankful for all of you, we're all in this together
