Do you have any odd or unusual baby tips or tricks that you'd like to share?

Here's mine:

Breastmilk is great on diaper rash and eye infections!

that's interesting! When my son was really little I put him to sleep a few times by putting my finger in his ear and gently rubbing in circles. I don't know how I stumbled upon this but it worked like 3 times! I guess it was soothing.

I knew about the eye infections but I didn't know about the diaper rash. That is a good and odd tip

when my son was born, he had a red goopy eye. No idea why. Anyway, the nurse told me to squirt breastmilk in there every couple hours and within a couple days, he was perfectly fine.

I don't think I have any odd tips. Just wanted to share my success story. Hmm.. now what if my future husband gets an eye infection while I am breastfeeding? Am I allowed to squirt him too?

I also did the breastmilk in the eye thing.

When I change DS diaper I use they blow dryer to get him nice and dry during changes!

This sounds gross but really isn't. Ds took a pacifier until he was one, and sometimes we'd have a hard time getting him to burp after a feeding. So one day dh said, "try burping him with the binky (our slang for the pacifier)". I did and it worked. So we always burped him with is pacifier in, he'd burp really easily with it in and not once did anything come up.
