I know this should be in the pregnancy thread but I need advice soon, so I'm posting here. i am 6 almost 7 weeks pregnant. And I have been breathing more than usual. (And even my DSpouse notices it.) Well, this morning I woke up and I had a pain well I still have the pain 8 hours later. Is it heartburn? I have never had this pain.

The pain is below my breast bone and above my belly button( SO IN BETWEEN)but closer to my breast bone. I know what morning sickness feels like and this isn't it.

Or am i just over stipulating this. I won't see my Family Practioner until the 14 and then after that i will get an OB doctor. (stupid insurance). What should I do?

I would probably call my GP and explain my symptoms and my situation with the insurance and go from there...

I too would call your Dr. That way you are reassured that everything is ok or they will see you if it is a concern. That's what they are there for, so give em a call they don't mind.
I did get crampy pains in my abdomen early on which they said was ligament movement. But it doesn't sound like the same thing.

It does sound like it could be heartburn to me. But, I agree, call your dr and ask!

I have never had heart burn so I wouldn't know. I also haven't been to the doctor in 3 and half years so my Family Practioner I just got. I need her to prove I'm pregnant before I see an OB. So maybe she will make me an appointment sooner. All I know is this is way different from my first pregnancy. I'll call her Nurses hot line and see what they say. THANK YOU. It's just not getting any better and I'm scared it's something BAD.

It sounds like heartburn to me as well. Could you maybe pop a couple of Tums see if it helps? Maybe drink a good size glass of milk?
I would still call your doctor just in case, that way if the tums or milk doesn't work you can have the doctor on stand-by.

I get that pain alot. More when I am pregnant. Guess what it is for me? It's trapped gas or that's my best guess anyways. It helps to fart and burp! Take some tums and just try to release some air!
