For those that have had implantation bleeding.....how long after you noticed the spotting were you able to test?

Not even sure if that is what is going on with me.....but just curious.

I can usually test two days before my period is supposed to start. I have always known when I was pregnant before I bought a test and got a positive, but I would get them too early and they would come out negative even though I was pregnant. I would get a good test and test two days before your period.

You guys are too funny!!!!! You must be excited because it looks like you both forgot words in your posts. hahahahaha!!!

We have not been very careful this past month. I didn't think i ovulated....usually i can tell when/if it happens. However yesterday i had very slight spotting for a short time. I feel a little achy and my lower back is kind of sore. Thursday i had a horrible headache and sick stomach....that usually happens right before my period hits but my period hasn't come on. Soooooooooooo my brain started thinking "maybe" it was implantation bleeding.

I will let you all know by the end of the week. I should be able to test by then I think.
I'm not holding my breath. My body is so messed up it usually doesn't do what it's suppose to do.

I want to say implantation bleeding usually happens about 7-10 days post ovulation, but I'm not sure. I had some very, very light spotting for a very short period of time with my second and it happened within a day or two of when I expected my period (in fact, I think I tested and got a faint positive the very next day).

What to Expect When You're Expecting says implantation bleeding usually occurs 7-10 days after conception or "a little before or around the time you would have expected your period."

I had implantation bleeding, but it wasn't until after I knew that I was pregnant.

I didn't have implanation bleeding with either of my two girls, but I've read a lot about it. Stephpook is right, it's usually about 7-10 days before your period, and can be very slight or a little more like a period, but not quite as red (more pink) and not for so long. I am waiting to see if AF shows up this week, if not, I'll test this weekend! I'm not sure if these little feelings I'm having are pms or the real deal. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack!

Good luck and I hope everything works out for you, either way.

I had implantation bleeding with my frist pregnancy. It was very light spotting for 2 days. I thought it was a period and that my body was just messed up a little. NO CLUE that I could be pregnant because I was on the pill.

Anyway...I'll be waiting to hear(read) any news this week....
