With my first, I couldn't wait to start wearing my maternity clothes. I liked the tops but soon discovered that I disliked maternity pants. They were not comfortable. The only maternity pants I liked were the "yoga" pants from Old Navy. I had them in every color available.

With my first child I was really trying to be cost-sensitive and skimped on my maternity clothes. One of my friends talked me into buying some $80 black pants from A Pea in the Pod and I was planning on returning them. With about a month to go, I was in a pinch for something to wear and broke down and took the tags off the pants. It turned out to be the best $80 I ever spent. They were so comfortable. I think I wore them nearly every day for the last month!

For my second child, I had learned my lesson. I headed straight to the Gap and bought two pairs of jeans. Soooo worth the money.

With my first I was so excited to wear them. But now I think I like them less and less with each pregnancy. It's not that they aren't cute or comfy. I just want to be little again. The other day I came across some of my regular pants and they just looked so small compared to my maternity pants.

I loved my maternity clothes. I still wear a few tank tops. I bought a pair of maternity sweatpants that I hated while I was pregnant but I absolutely love them now! I would still wear a few of my shirts, but I still look like I'm pregnant in them 7 months later!

Yep, I did, but it was hard to find dressy tops that were not too revealing. I stayed fairly small-chested until my milk came in, so that made it hard to find good shirts. And I ha a couple pairs of pants that I liked, but someone really has to invent maternity pants that do not fall down, no matter how huge you get.

I liked the tops and hated the bottoms. I had to have nice looking pants for work, so I had maternity slacks, yuck. It is true that they fall down no matter what you do.
Outside of work I was a yoga pant girl (still am) and that's what I will do for #2. I think you can still wear a nice shirt with a nicer pair of yoga pants, I guess just keep one pair for nicer wear.
I had plenty to fill out the shirts, but many of the shirts were so low cut, I was not comfortable hanging out all over the place. I wanted to draw less attention to them, not more

I liked most of my maternity clothes. There were a couple shirts and shorts that I loved. So stretchy and comfortable.
