My oldest has a rather large brown birthmark on her lower back and a freckle one on her hip. Anyone else have children who were born with birthmarks?

My oldest dd has a white spot on her upper arm no bigger then a quarter. She is like a medium skin tone so you can see it better. Last year she noticed it and said, or I should say screamed "MOM!! I am turning into a cow!" That was too funny!
The younger 2 have birthmarks that look almost identical on their lower back. One is on the left side and the other is on the right side. I tell my dh that it is because they were born so close together (11 months) so that have to share something that is the same!

My oldest DS has a brithmark on his inner thigh/knee area. We took him to the dermatologist (sp?) a few years ago to have it checked out because it grows black hair . The doc said it was fine and gave us trouble signs to look for.

My kids don't though my husband has one that he hates, it's on his calf. I did see a baby the other day with one on the top of her head. Once her hair grows out I doubt anyone will even know it is there. It was cute!

My oldest has a light brown birthmark on his shin. It's exactly like one I had on the back of my thigh that went away in my late teens. It's barely noticable.

My youngest twin has a tiny scar from where they used forceps on him during delivery. It's near his left eye.

Course it now matches the one he got in the middle of that same eyebrow when he fell and hit the corner of the night stand and needed stitches...

My oldest dd has a raised one under her right boobie as she calls it. She gets it from her father. It looks like it's going to pop. It has gotten alot better, but it looks like it is filled with blood, but the Dr says she will grow into it.

My DD has one on her butt and then she has one on her lower back - it looks like a bruise. There is a medical term for it, I don't remember. It's getting lighter as she gets older.

DS has a bright purple-brown storkbite on his neck that DH was *very* worried about because he has a birthmark on his shin that he hates. But I think it has finally begun to fade a little. Doctor said it will most likely be gone by the time DS is two.

DS has a couple on his right leg that are just plain much darker pigmentation than the rest of his fair skin. Not raised, not different texture, no hair growing from it or anything. I didn't realize that birthmarks like that can grow, though! It was a tiny little spot when he was born, but it has stayed the same size relative to the size of his leg, so now that he's getting big, it's a pretty good size, maybe a half an inch. The second one we didn't even see when he was born because it was so small, but now it's 2 or 3 mm wide.
