I'm 8 weeks and I'm getting a little belly. I've been putting up weekly pics on my myspace and I can't button up all the buttons on my BDU pants (I'll probably have to get maturnity BDU's soon) but people are telling me that I can't be showing THIS soon. I talked to a friend of mine and she said she started showing a little bit by the end of her 2nd month, and I googled 8 weeks pregnancy pics and saw some pics of women with their 8 weeks bellies and they were showing (some were even bigger than me).

What do you guys think? Do you think this is something that can vary person to person, or should I not be showing yet?

It all depends on your body and build. It varries. It could just be a little weigh you are gainning. I am trying to remember when I had a little belly. It was kinda early as well. I just don't remember exactly.

Every woman and every body is different! You might also be experiencing some bloating at this point as well.

It has to be unique to each person--at least I gotta believe that. I'm really bloated and miserable wearing my normal clothes. I went to the store and tried on maternity pants and literally almost cried because they were such a relief.

I start off the day pretty ok but by the end of the day I can't wear my clothes. But I feel guilty wearing maternity pants at this stage because it seems like I'm jumping the gun.

With my first I didn't show till about 3 1/2 months. With my second I started showing at 8 to 10 weeks. Since I didn't want to tell people till 3 months, I had to wear really baggy clothing.

It depends on each person how early you show. A friend didn't tell people she was pregnant till she was almost 6 months along (due to problems in the pregnancy) and I didn't guess that she was pregnant before that and I saw her almost once a week. On the other hand, I guessed that someone else was pregnant when she was only 7 weeks along.

With my 2nd, I felt like I was showing immediately. I think it was around 2-3 months.

It varies woman to woman, I think the biggest factor is how you carry. With my boys I didn't start getting bigger until I was 3-5 months along (3 pregnancies and those varied) but I got big all over- butt, thighs, hips, etc. With my dd I was a walking belly and started getting a belly with her at 6-7 weeks and was comfortable in my maternity wear at 8 weeks.
