I sympathize with you. I've tried so many sippy cups. My little one will drink juice out of the Nalgene sippy cup but FORGET drinking milk out of it. Someone suggested slowly watering down the milk in the cup with water but that didn't help us at all. Try to relax, the bottle will be gone before college.

Haha, I keep reminding myself of that...of course then he may switch to a different kind of bottle.

Be careful with those nuby cups. They are a mixed blessing. I couldn't get my little one to drink milk out of a cup to save my life, and I bought him those cups and now at 2 1/2 he won't drink milk out of anything else. They are really just bottles in disguise! I recently threw out all the plastic stuff in my kitchen and I attempted to get rid of the Nuby cups and my little guy had an all out fit and refused to drink his milk out of a glass (he will drink anything else out of a glass - WHY NOT MILK? I just don't get it). I figured twice a day out of plastic was better than no milk at all, so for now he is winning this battle.

Maybe wait 5 days or so, give him his bottles, then introduce a new sippy. He obviously does not like the one he has...lol Maybe a little break in between would help.

What if he picked one out? Is he old enough for that?

My dd liked the Avent brand, but every lil one is different, that is why there are 50 million brands.... and they usually like the most expensive one!

good luck, don't feel pressured to get rid of it, they don't stay little for long. <----- I had to repeat that to myself everyday that dd had a paci ( 2 1/2 yrs old and a nagging aunt to deal with, ugh )

It took my daughter many tries to figure out how to use the sippy cup. I would definitely recommend giving it to him in the highchair. Less mess is best.
Will he drink out of a regular cup? My daughter learned that months and months before I even bought her the sippy. Might work for you.

My son doesnt like sippy cups either I have tried everything I can think of. I feel guilty that he still drinks from a bottle.
