Bacon!

Just the smell of it got me going.

One hot summer day (before cars commonly had air conditioning), I was stuck at a traffic light and right on the corner was a Jack-in-the-Box. They had just introduced the bacon and cheese hamburger. Right next to them was a Kentucky Fried Chicken. I was about 8 months pregnant and gagged through that entire light. Wanna know what the secret ingredient in KFC is?

Yes, you guessed it ... bacon.

Both pregnancies with DS (who is 3) and PG 30w 1d now, the only thing that truly bothered me: coffee and only in the 1st trimester. This time too: I get colds more frequently and I crave tea no coffee.

Nothing really bothered me with dd #1 but with dd#2 I couldn't eat Pizza. The acid would get really bad. Then I couldn't hardly eat anything the last 6 weeks. I had acid really bad.

I have had a problem with lettuce and salads with all 3 of my pregnancies! It's wierd.

I haven't been able to eat pepperoni or sausage since I was pregnant with my first baby.

With this pregnancy I have had a hard time with ground beef but I'm starting to be okay with it now.

The first trimester it was meat with DS#2 and DD. I can't remember what it was with first DS. I just remember the thought of meat would make me queezy. After the first trimester I was fine with it.
