When were they using walking as their primary method of transportation? Mine were 10 1/2 months & 12 1/2 months. I think my youngest needed to keep up with her sister and started very early.

Noah started walking right after his first birthday. He didnt start walking walking until he was 14 months. When he was walking more than crawling.

My son got up and ran across the room on his first birthday. He didn't crawl until he was 10.5 months old and didn't do it very fast.

On the other hand, my daughter didn't walk until she was 14 mos old BUT she mastered crawling around 8-9 mos old and was quick!!

DD is 11.5 months old and still doesn't walk. She pushes her stroller sometimes and tries to walk - but she's a real fast crawler.

I caught my daughter on video just minutes after she figured out how to stand up by herself (without pulling herself up with anything.) It was exactly 5 days after her 1st birthday.
