So, this is the second time in my life I went off the pill. I am in my first menstrual cycle since I went off a month ago. It's just so wierd this time....I bled only on one occassion (not much at all) and only have had a few spots so far. I was due to get my period on Sunday...and it may seem im jumping the gun thinking i could be el prego...but i have NEVER had a period so LIGHT! Even the first time i went off the pill (the first time i got pregnant) i had at least 1 normal cycle.

Eh, its probably just my body changing up bc i have the crankiness and sweet tooth of a woman with her girlfriend visiting! hahahah

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience...

possibly. with our 3rd (pregnant now) I went off the pill in July (after our vacation during the week of the 4th) and while we were on our 2nd week at the beach - in August, I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I was cranky as all can be and tired and had all of my ususal PMS symptoms but I didn't have any spotting or bleeding - just never arrived. But, Piper is due to arrive in just a few weeks!! :-)

It is possiable. The only way to know for sure is to take a HPT.

WHen I went off the pill, I had a very light period that only lasted for 2 days. I actually thought it was just spotting and that I could be pregnant then. I wasn't, but I did end up getting pregnant the following month. Your body goes through changes when you go off the pill so I would suggest to take a HPT. Let us know how it goes?

I would just go to the Dollar Tree, if you have one near by. They have pregnancy tests there and one of my bestfriends found out she was preggy both times on those dollar store tests. Plus you can buy like 10 of them to make sure they are accurate!

I was traveling a lot before and after my wedding and lost my last pack of pills (they were found a few months after my daughter was born stuck in the springs under the truck seat--truely lost!). I had pestered two different Planned Parenthoods into giving me more packs than I was prescribed in the first place, and like I said, traveling... getting more just got put off. ALSO, I had ALWAYS been told that when you go off the pills, the hormones and their effects are still in your body for a few months, and make pregnancy improbable. I was told this by health care professionals, not just hopeful girlfriends. So, imagine my surprise when I never had another period after my wedding (my last cycle ended the day before). Nice timing, huh?!?! lol
