We are planning a Baby Shower Tea at a Tea Room. Its a 2 hour sit down baby shower with at max 25 people. What games do you think would work best? I was thinking we would do the how big is mommy game (use ribbon to guess how much it takes to fit around the baby bump) and the Don't Say the Word Baby game using pink and blue clothespins since they aren't finding out the sex. Any other easy, quick, cute (not annoying) games ?

One game that is actually pretty fun to play is to have everyone who is coming bring a baby picture of themselves. Then you put them on a board or display them somehow with numbers and everyone at the party guesses which picture is which person's baby picture. Give a prize to th person with the highest number of correct answers. It is also a nice conversation starter.

I bought tiny little plastic babies from Wishing Well and froze them in dixie cups. (I cleaned them before) Then who ever could get their baby out of the ice first won a prize. When it came out they had to yell "My water broke".......

Shower gift bingo: Make bingo cards with common gifts listed, like diapers, onesies, blanket, rattle, etc. When the mommy-to-be is opening the gifts, the guests mark their cards accordingly, and whoever gets 5 in a row first wins.

That was really the only game we played at my shower. Other than that, some people brought in a whole bunch of scrapbooking stuff, and everyone made a scrap book page for me, with advice and photos from the party to be added later. When they were all finished, they were hung up and judged by everyone. That was cool, because now I have a really neat scrapbook from my shower.

I second the bingo because the present opening time is when guests start to get antsy anyway and it gives them something to do.


I was at a shower were we did a nursery rhyme quiz. That was kinda fun.

We did bingo at another party we did, but the guests got to fill in their own bingo words of gifts they thought the mommy would get. This makes it easier on you to just let them fill them out themselves.

I've also done the scrapbook thing and that was fun. It kinda keeps everyone mingling throughout the party.
