I have a feeling DS is going to be a moose - my belly is HUGE!! Twice I've been asked if we were having twins I've gained about 55 lbs and I keep having dreams (nightmares!) of delivering a 14 pounder...I'm terrified that he'll be enormous since I've gained so much!!

How much did your baby weigh?

My first son was 8 lbs, 4oz, and my 2nd son was 8lbs, 8oz.

And guess what? I gained 70 lbs! Don't worry too much... I have taken it all off except for about 15 lbs, but much of that remaining is due to my stubborn love of bread and chocolate.

Noah was 7 pounds 12 ounces and he was born at 37 weeks.

Well I usually win the biggest baby contest around here, so you better deliver a whopper if you're going to compete!!

My dd was 9# 13 oz. and I was induced 1 1/2 weeks early because of high blood pressure. They didn't know she was going to be so big.

My ds was 10# 2oz and I was induced 2 1/2 wks early for him just because he was so enormous. They told me if I went full term he'd be around 12 pounds because babies gain several ozs per day the last few wks. Since dd was so large, they were ultrasounding me to see how big 2nd baby was, and the doctor covering for mine said about 4 wks before my due date "We've gotta get that baby out of there!!"

And yes....I delivered them both vaginally.

My ds was born 1 week early at 9 lb 3 oz. I only gained 30 lbs so I'm not sure there is a huge correlation between weight gain and the size of the baby.

aliadam - I hope they ultrasound me for the next one like they did for you. It was a shock! I delivered vaginally as well.

My singleton was 8, 13 at full term.

My twins were 6, 14 and 7, 4. 38 weeks.

All delivered vaginally.

Wowee! I can't beat that, but my Mom can! She had 11 children, and one of them was 12#, 6oz....delivered vaginally!!! (I was only 9#, one of the smaller ones... )
