With my daughter, I was completely in shock! Yes we were trying but I went off my b/c and was like pregnant 10 minutes later! I kept telling my husband, "I want my three months. Everyone told my it would take three months!" He thought I was nuts.

With my son ... well actually I was so ticked off at Safeway over buying my pregnancy test (the WORST experience ever) that I was just angry. I still give that man an evil eye whenever I see him. Jerk. But after that I was like, "Well, here we go again!"

Anyone else willing to admit what first crossed their minds?

I think both times my jaw dropped and I just stared at the home preg. test for a few moments. All I could think was how much my life would change after just peeing on a stick!!

with my ds i was only 17 so i took about 5 pregnancy test to make sure they were all saying positive. seriously i was scared witless! i thought all the tests were wrong! with dd i was 19 and i knew about a week after i missed AF that i was pregnant. Honestly, very shocked both times but would do it all over again, even at that age!

I was very scared, I had just turned 18. We almost made the worst decision of our lives, which is guilt I live with everyday, but I wouldn't have it any other way now.

Totally shocked with first one because I was only 20 and it was not planned at all. I was on bc. The next four were all planned and it was no surprise because all I got to do is think about it and I'm pregnant.

I was excited and scared. Because I knew there was a chance of another miscarriage. Not to mention my lovely mother in law ( Who was a total witch) told me that I was gonna have another miscarriage and the same one that told me a couple days after my miscarriage to get over it. I was scared and excited every day of my pregnancy.

With my first I was shocked and excited. With #2 I had "how could this happen so soon?" cross my mind (my oldest are 16 months apart). #3 I was really excited because I had been wanting to have another baby. With #4 I went through several emotions because half of my tests came up negetive and half came up positive, I was on pins and needles until I got the call from my dr saying I was pregnant.

"Well, that explains some things..." (I was sick and had migraines) and then I cried because I was so happy. The next one will be "Finally!" -- we've been trying to get pregnant for 2.5 years now, so when God finally allows it to happen, it'll be a great day
