How far along were you in your pregnancy when you decided to share your news with your family/friends?

Well my close friends and my mom knew right away. I didn't tell any of my other family until I was almost 6 months. I wanted to make sure incase I has another miscarriage

Work found out before my family because there was a patient in isolation I really didn't want to take care of if I didn't absolutely have to. For our families I think we agree to wait until 3 months into the pregnancy, but the secret came out before hand.

I've had 2 miscarriages in the past year, so with this pregnancy, i waited until i got into my 4th month. My parents and brother and SIL knew at about 7 weeks.

at the end of my first trimester(12 wks along), but it wasn't my choice -- that's when I found out I was pregnant. we told EVERYONE within minutes of knowing.. couldn't dial fast enough

I was pretty far. My sister right away, our family around 10 weeks, everyone else more like 16.

I didnt find out till I was 5 weeks pregnant I was so happy I told my husband of course over the phone and he was over at his parents that morning He told my mother -N-law and after that it was over all of my husbands side of the family knew by the end of the day ! I told my mom and two people from church and that following sunday even the MEN from our church were congradulating my husband !

I told everyone right away with all my kiddies! between DD #1 and DD#2 we had a miscarriage, it was right away so we hadn't made any announcements yet, but I did tell my family and DH's because I needed their support. DH thought maybe we should wait to tell family and friends with the last 3 pregnancies but I wanted to tell right away because joy or sorrow, that is what family and friends are for, right? So we shared the day we saw the second line on the test!
