Oh yes, very painful. There's not a lot you can do. I did a few internal exercises - it's good to try to isolate the muscles because it will help you in recovery. When it hurts, rest with your feet up. I found taking a bath, and especially swimming helped a little. I also found that it hurt worse if I sat in an upright position for too long, especially in my chair ON THE COMPUTER!! It got so bad at times that I did take Tylenol for it w/dr.'s approval.

I had a few times where I even all but hit the ground from the pain shooting up. There really isn't anything to do..but mention how bad it is and see if there might be some new or odd suggestion your dr. has!! You never know!!

I feel your pain! Mine was so bad with Quentin, that I actually left work early one day because I was in so much pain. My dr. did allow me to take Tylenol, which helped a bit. Of course, mine hit me right when we went to the Grand Canyon, so I limped around a little bit, but didn't go with DH when he walked part-way down into the canyon.

Oh my gosh....I soooo feel your pain....I lived with it for 8 straight days every 5 minutes...I was around 5 or 6 months and we thought I was in preterm labor and went to the emergency room and that is when we found out it was ligament stretch....the worst pain I felt and then they said that it can happen anytime...I got to noticing later when those 8 days was over, that when I pushed my sweeper it would send pains...I sooo feel for you girl.....my obgyn made me feel better when I went to see her a week later...she got he report from the er and she said that she had to go to for the same thing...lol...so I felt alot better knowing that she went too...lol

Two other things you could try: try taking a lecithin supplement and try using a long piece of fabric (or even a scarf could work) to tie tightly around your pelvis/hips or put under your belly to pull it up and tie it in the back a little higher.
