I took Fenugreek capsules (3 pills 3 time a day), and I thought it really helped. I was also exclusively nursing, and my dd wanted to nurse very frequently. I was also told by a lactation consultant that you can take Blessed Thistle capsules in conjunction with the Fenugreek to get the best results (same dosage as above). Make sure your baby is nursing at least 8-12 times a day (preferrably one time being between 2 and 6 am), more often to bump up your supply. As long as he's gaining weight and having plenty of wet diapers, he's probably getting enough. You can also pump extra too, which will help to increase your supply. The only thing about taking Fenugreek is that it can make your urine and sweat smell like maple syrup, but I figured that was a small price to pay to be able to exclusively nurse my baby, and it did work well for me.
