Did anyone have them as early as 28 weks? I read in my book that it is normal, but I didn't have them at all with my 1st preg. I have been getting them fairly often the past few days.

I don't think I knew what was going on with me, but looking back I do think what I was feeling then was Braxton Hicks. I"ve heard people at 20 weeks getting them.

Of course it could just be your uterus stretching more. If you really start to get concerned, call your OB.

Yes, and I have heard that with each subsequent pregnancy you can feel BH earlier and earlier. I have just had my third, and BH started around 25-27 weeks, and were very strong. In fact, they got so strong that I thought I was still having BH when I was actually in labour with him at 36 weeks.

We have the same due date! I read your ticker- wow, yours will be even closer together than mine! Is there something psychological about saying August that makes it seem so much farther away? I am really hoping for a late July baby!

I've had four kids, and with each pg, everything happens differently, but usually with more subsequent pregnancies you know what to expect something to feel like (with dc#1, I didn't feel movement until almost 20 weeks, and with the 3rd and 4th, I felt them at 14 weeks or earlier!).

With #4, I felt BH probably in the 6th month or earlier (we were in the midst of making a move from IN to AR at the time, so it's a bit hazy).

And to prove how different things can be in each pregnancy, my first delivery took over 27 hours and my 4th was almost born in the parking lot of the hospital (2.5 hours from first contractions to birth)!

I had them with my second pregnancy starting at about 26 weeks. I found that when I got nervous, excited, or stressed, they would happen, and they would be fairly regular until I relaxed. HTH!

I was one of those people that started getting them at 20 weeks. They just got closer together and stronger as the pregnancy went on.
Good thing I didn't get them with my first, I would have been in the hospital for false labor quite frequently!
