I found a great deal on Newborn size diapers. And I was just wondering IF you used them with your child about how many weeks did you use them for? and what was your child's birth weight?

THANKYOU

I think Noah used them for about a month. He was 7 pounds 12 ounces. He wore Pampers swaddlers.

I did not use them, but my babies were rather large (11 lbs and 9lb 10oz). But I would not recommend buying them. My friends have also said they did not use them and their babies were of normal weights. If you did buy some I would suggest only buying one package.

My son was 7lbs 2.5oz at birth and he used them for the first 3 weeks (about 2 packages worth). He wore Pampers swaddlers.

He is now 4 weeks old and wearing size 1 (they seem just a tad too big, but the newborn size were WAY too small.)

I actually used the newborn diapers on DD until she was 3 months. I probably should have switched sooner, but (and I hate to admit this) I had a hard time jumping up to that next size! She was 7lbs 9 oz. It all depends on the baby.

Well they all lose some ounces the first couple days. I agree only get one or two at the most. Dont go nuts, See if you can return or exchange the unopened ones. Dont forget you will get some from the hospital as well.

I think we were in newborn for maybe 2 weeks?? Riley was 7lbs 6oz

But if it's a good deal you could always use them as future baby shower gifts... or donate them to a shelter?

We used newborns for about 3 months but my dd was only 5lbs. 13 oz. My nephew on the other hand was 9lbs. 2oz. and left the hospital in size ones.

I would agree with not stocking up too much or if you do, make sure you can exchange sizes if you need to.
