ALL the baby clothes! My youngest will be 3 this August and we are done having babies. I had been holding on to one big rubbermaid bin full of the most special things because they were just too precious and expensive to give to goodwill. Our son was the last baby in my family so I didn't have cousins or siblings or anyone to pass it down to. When I picked up my son from preschool on Tues. his teacher who is 6 months pg with her second son mentioned that she loved my ds's clothes and he always looked so cute. I got to thinking that I should give it all to her. I know they don't have much money and she is so sweet. So I came home, pulled it all out, and filled 2 huge shopping bags with little smocked outfits and hand knit sweaters and all the things us Southern girls like to dress our kids in. I took it to her yesterday and she was floored. It made me feel good to know that it would all be used and appreciated. It wasn't doing me any good in the storage room!

So now, please God don't let my IUD fail me, because that was the absolute last of the baby stuff. Last month I sold all the gear on craigslist.

That was such a nice thing of you to do! I know how much value we attribute to things sometimes, especially when we link our memories to these objects, but best memories should be stored in pictures and in our head instead of taking up closet space. You did the right thing. You helped someone and decluttered your home. High Five!
