Can anyone reccomment a place to buy crib/toddler bedding cheap? I'm looking to get a whole set, but I don't want to spend $60!

Also, does crib bedding work for toddler bedding too? Just without the blanket and pillow?

walmart has cute sets it comes with 1sheet, blanket, and pillowcase for 34. i got ds thomas sheet and pillowcase off of avons website for 9.99. or u could just buy sheets seperate and find blankets and pillowcases to match for under 34. his crib turned into the toddler bed so he has the same mattresss so the toddler/crib sheets r the same.

I always see sets really cheap at yard sales, most of the time not even used. You might also try ebay.

Craigslist!

But all you need is a crib sheet. Bumpers aren't safe unless you get the new mesh/breathable ones and those don't come in sets I believe (at least the last time I went shopping they weren't included in those sets) and you aren't suppose to put a blanket/quilt, etc in the crib with your baby so you don't need that either. The crib skirt is really just for looks also, you don't NEED one, KWIM? All those sets, they are more for decoration, and really a waste of money!

The crib sheet will be used with the toddler bed, you just need a pillowcase and blanket at that stage.

I would definitely check out Walmart. We got our DDs crib set at Walmart for under $50... I think it was like 39.99 or something like that. I also agree with the previous post that if this is for a baby's crib you really only need the sheets. DD is17 mo. old and we have 3 sheets total for her bed. We bought the main crib set, which included sheet, bumper, and comforter (used as a blanket to lay her on the floor on when she was a young baby) and then we bought 2 extra crib sheets. Her crib will convert to a toddler bed so we will use the comforter with it.

For a crib, all you really need is a crib sheet ($10). A skirt is cute, and the bumper is good until they start pulling up, but all you really NEED is the sheet. My 9 month old is pulling up now so we've pulled out the bumper and he's now using the sheet & the bedskirt!

For toddler sized beds the same sheet will work there. I found some plain navy (toddler sized) blankets at Toys R Us for about $15. Standard sized pillows & pillowcases and then the crib sheets are what we use in our toddler beds.

I gave all of mine to a friend and cousin - if you know anyone who has older kids - ask - they may sell to you cheap or just give it to you to free up space.
