My 6 1/2 mo has been cheerfully and eagerly eating his solids twice a day for about a month now, but about 5 days ago he stopped. He only wants breastmilk, and clamps his mouth really tightly when he sees the spoon, even though we've tried his favorite foods. It's getting fustrating, but I'm not forcing him, just trying over and over and over. I read this could be a sign of teething, anyone else had this happen? He has had some little buds sitting there in his mouth for a little while now.Nothings poked through as far as I can tell. I'm hoping this is just a stage? But I'm really worried he'll never eat solids again. At least, anytime soon.

my oldest never got on a routine until she was about 9-10 months old. I also have a 7 month old and we have been dealing with this too, last week she did not want to eat, and now she does! as with everything, it is a stage so they say! he'll eat solids again, don't worry. ;-) I wouldn't force it, offer it and if he rejects it, try again another time.
how is yours with pooping now on solids? dd is having a hard time lol she has gone 4 days and just had an explosive diaper! ped said it was ok as long as she goes once a week... motherhood, I tell ya!

Well my ds has gone through several phases like this...when he was teething, when he was starting to develop an ear infection, and when he started wanting to feed himself. It's always a guessing game!
