anybody got any good ones? any different ones that youve played? any suggestions would be grateful

I like the game where you melt a variety of different types of candy bars on tiny diapers and the guests have to guess which candy bar it is. Totally gross but funny at the same time.

this isn't very frugal, but my favorite was a table of small items from my registry (socks, bottle, board book, pacifier, teething toy, etc) and you had 1 minute to look at it, then write everything down. Then I got to keep everything on the table.
Another one was she stuffed a basket with as many teeny size 0 diapers as possible and we passed it around and tried to guess how many were in there.
Also I played one at a shower where they passed around jars of baby food with the labels off and we had to guess what it was. This was when I was barely pregnant and I didn't know anything about baby food, so I did terrible.

I like the game where no one can say the word baby. We got those mini pink and blue clothespins (since we didn't know the sex of the baby). When you got to the shower, everyone picked one clothespin depending on what you thought the baby would be. Then, if you catch someone say baby, you steal their clothespins. The person with the most clothespins win!

I like it because it is easy and isn't too cheesey

This isn't really a game but it is something we did at my cousins shower because there were so many woman (about 80) and we only had time to play one game before she had to start openong gifts. We took a kitchen timer and set it for 15 minutes. Whenever the timer went off, the person who's gift she was opening at that time would get a prize. It was funny because people would watch the timer and when they could see the time getting closer they would try and get her to pick their gift.

We Had Quite A Few Fun Ones At My Friends I Threw For Her A While Back.

We Took All Sorts Of Baby Foods And Took The Labels Off And Then Passsed Them Around And People Had To Guess The Flavor.

And Passed Around A Thing Of Yarn And You Cut Off How Ever Much You Thought Would Rap Around The Mommies Belly Then Who Ever Got Closest Won.'

Take those little plastic baby's and freeze them in water in ice trays. Put several regular ice cubes and then an ice cub with the baby in a glass. Who ever delivers their baby first, wins. (the first one who's cube with the baby melts)

The ice cube baby was a big hit at my shower-although DH's cousin cheated and put it in her mouth to make it melt faster!

The candy diaper and the baby food ones were also a big hit.

We kind did what soucyx6 did, except we made BINGO cards and people had to fill it out with whatever they thought I got. Then they just had to yell BINGO when ever they got it. It helped to keep everyone's attention on me and not everyone chatting and me just opening presents.

We aslo did the "how many sheets of TP" thing. Where they had to guess how many sheets would go around my belly. My own mother said 50!!!! IT was only 12!!!!!!! Oh well, it was fun.
