I posted this in the Chit Chat section, but wanted to post here to in case someone might have some advice or experience they want to share with me..

On to some more news... well, I've been very much nervous, anxious, whatever you want to call it for the last 3 weeks or so..thinking and contemplating getting married, what the future will be like, how it will be trying to keep everyone happy in my household, how things will work out with new dh now living with us, etc. I thought once I got married, that it would subside a bit, but it has actually gotten worse. Anyway, I was supposed to start my period last week, and I haven't started yet. Today is day 30 and I am normally 21-28 days. I am pretty sure that I had very faint spot yesterday morning...very, very faint and one spot, but absolutely no signs of my period showing up at all. I have all the symptoms of pms, but no starting. This really isn't what I want to be announcing.. I'm hoping that it is just delayed from all the nerves this month. Oh, and this last month, we didn't do anything, just played around twice, but didn't actually do anything. So it would be just my luck that the month we didn't do anything, I get pregnant.

Has anyone ever missed a period from being stressed out??

I don't feel pregnant at all, like I did my other two. My other two, I knew I was pregnant the first day I missed. I could pinpoint what day I conceived. Maybe it's because we didn't actually do anything that I am in disbelief of this. Really, the only symptoms that I have is missed period (so far) and my bb's are a bit tender still. I want to wait a couple more days but the more I wait the more nervous I get, so I don't know what to do.....

Take a test, lamby! I didn't read your other post. Are you already married? I am SO happy for you. I remember you saying in the past that you would love to have another baby so don't let your nerves get you all stressed out. You are late enough for the test to work. Go get one and tell us what it says! I think Christy is out of town until Friday but I will give you a kick in the butt for her. She would say GO BUY A TEST. I have missed periods because of stress before, so it may be nothing. If it is negative, that will be one less thing for you to stress about. It is going to be okay!

I have been late due to stress as well. But, just to set your mind at ease go buy a test.

Well, my dh bought a test and came to work.. I took it and it was positive. It's usually not wrong when it is a positive, yes? We are both in shock... numb more like it. My head is reeling with 1000s of thoughts. I'm 37 years old, is that old to have a baby?? The timing is sooo off in our minds, but God obviously has a plan, right? I wanted to be able to quit working when I had another baby. I'm not sure that I will be able to right now.

I just pray that it's a girl!

What a shocker for you! Congrats Lisa!!!!! I just e-mailed you this but want to make sure you see it....You said God has a plan, and I have to think yes he does...This little bundle is going to "offically" tie your 2 families into 1...How cool is that! (Not to mention alot of pressure for a newborn )

Congratulations!!!! It may be unexpected, but I'm sure he/she will be a joy and delight! And no, you are not too old. Take care of yourself, and enjoy the fact that you get to have this miracle again!
