What do you have in your diaperbag right now?

I have a change of outfit for each child in diapers, 4-5 diapers per child, diaper wipes (in a zip top bag....takes up less room than a container), a burp cloth, a receiving blanket (to cover up when I nurse the 5 week old) a small rubbermaid container of Kix (to keep them busy if I need to.......not even enough for a real size snack) and 2 sippy cups for the twins.......oh, and a changing pad!

I never use diaper cream, my baby does not spit up, (the twins are 2.5 years old) so I carry just the basics.

I have 3 diapers, changing pad, bottle of water, juice, a sippy cup, diaper cream, wipes, and a set of plastic car keys. I'm about to "upgrade" my bag. I got one thats just a little bit bigger (still considered a small bag). I got it to keep more snacks and toys in it since DD is about to turn one in July and she needs more to keep her occupied.

I'm going with what someone else said on here-I'm keeping the bag in the car. I was out with DD yesterday and I changed her in the car and everything. It was nice just having my purse!

And on the purse note-I DOWNSIZED! I was tired of having pacifiers, recepits, candy for DH, and all this other crap in there that wansn't mine. So now I have a tiny purse-wallet (which I downsized as well!), cell, keys, chapstick, pen, and Tyelonal is all that fits. and its all MINE!!!!

I don't carry a diaper bag! Haven't used one for years. I only carry one when we go on day trips. For a typical trip to the zoo it would have: a few diapers for my youngest, wipes in a zippy bag, sunblock, bug spray, non-perishable snacks in zip lock bags, a couple bottles of water (the each drink out of the bottle so no cup needed) and TravelJohn Disposable Urinals for my son who always has to pee as soon as we are driving no matter if he went pee before we left the house. They are these really neat little pee bags for lack of a better explanation. We also have a portable/foldable potty in the trunk but the TravelJohn is easier! Here is a link for those who haven't heard of them, they are a miracle product for us! buybuy BABY*Product

Changing pad, wipes and diaper disposing bags. I actually try to keep this empty so that i am forced to fill it to take with and won't forget anything. It seemed like every time I was assuming that there were enough diapers or wipes or clothes and was *wrong*. For a quick trip to the store I won't take it though. We have any emergency pack of wipes and a couple of diapers in the car.

That is a great idea. I also forgot to mention I pack those bags in a cute little duck container spinner. I also pack an extra pacifier.

Here's what we've got at the moment...

3 Pull-ups, 3 diapers, a travel size wipe container, Desitin, a zip-loc of bags to put dirties in, a changing pad, a travel size sunblock, a Tide pen, a bottle of that saline stuff you squirt up their noses when it's all stuffy, a bottle of Tylenol, a bottle of Sudafed Sinus and Cough med. along with a med. dropper in a Zip-loc, hand sanitizer, lotion, 2 of those little chalk board like things with pens attached that they push the the lever to the side and it erases their pic. (don't know what they're called, they call them "color pretties"), 2 Take and Toss bowls of Cheerios, 2-100 Calorie Packs of Lorna Dunes, 2-100 Cal. packs of Oreos, 2-100 Cal. packs of choc. chip cookies, 2 bags Whales cheese crackers, 1-"candy bar" or choc. chip granola bar, I better put another one in there!!! And a toy ambulance, again, I better put in another toy. YOu can't just have 1 of anything in there!!! Oh, and whenever we go anywhere 2 sippy cups, of course, with all that food we carry around!!!

So that's what's in there after I just took "inventory" we carry all this stuff in an AWESOME One Step Ahead Backpack Diaper Bag I got off eBay. Not only is it a GREAT bag but it was also a bargain!!!

I know, we carry everything but the kitchen sink.
