DH and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years now to get pregnant with our second baby. Nothing. I've been fertility charting for almost a year, and that hasn't helped [though I do know down to the hour when I'm going to get my period! ]. When do you just throw up your hands and seek medical intervention? Is it possible to trust that God will give you a child in the perfect timing, and yet it be okay (within that) to go to a fertility specialist?
Maybe I'm just discouraged. My SIL and cousin are both pregnant and due in October. More women around me are having babies -- some who don't even want them or don't want them "right now". I've just been letting things happen as they will; having charted for a while, I can determine when I'm fertile and I am really working on (and succeeding at) enjoying my 3 year old son. I just really want another baby. *sigh* I guess it is just discouragement talking.
p.s. we don't have insurance for 3 months, so the soonest I could go to a fertility doc would be the end of august.
