I have a friend that is adopting her cousins baby? This was not planned. What kind of help is there for her?

Diaper and Formula are killing her.

Any ideas would br great.
He is just 6 weeks old.

Would she qualify for WIC? If she did that would be big help with formula. Would she consider cloth diapers like Fuzzi Bunz? You have to dish out a bit of money to start but it would save her money in the long run.

I am throwing a shower in 2 months that there will between 80 to 100 attending. It is for families. My BBF expressed that she hoped there would be games at her shower and I had not been thinking that I would do games. I need some ideas that are "family friendly" and good for large groups.

there is a caregivers rebate program through huggies i believe. i didnt pay too much attention to it but look at the site freebies for moms they have info about that. maybe contacting all the baby compies for freebies is a start. She should also get a adoption credit on taxes so that is good. put up a post on what kinds of diapers and such she needs maybe people here will have coupons i know i have coupons for both major brands that sometimes can go bad. best of luck

She has custody of the baby now and hasn't adopted yet? The baby probably qualifies for the TANF-child only grant. She should go to her Health & Welfare office and ask about it.
