I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I started spotting last Sunday and it was light and brown. I called my midwife and she said to take it easy (no strenuous activity, sex, or lifting baby). I rested and by Wed it was better. I started picking DD up and doing my normal stuff (but no working out) Today there is very little any spotting and tomorrow I was planning to take DD out to the park and to get some new shoes. However, I wonder if I should rest more and take DD to day care.

When you were pregnant with your second (or 3rd, 4th....) did you limit what you did early on, like picking up baby?

I would rest! take dd to day care

your body is trying to tell you something, especially since you rested and stopped, then started again.

I did limit picking up my dd....

hope everything goes well! REST! ;-)

Booo - but I think that is what I needed to hear.
I was just so excited to have a day off to have a day with her. I guess I will just have to spend my day off with the new baby
Its silly to ignore my body for only one day out when we are going to the river on Saturday.

Thanks for your advice!
