Does anybody have any "miracle cures" or treatments for cradle cap?

I used Vitamin E ointment on DD"s head. I put it on before she went to bed (yes the sheets get a little greesy) and in the morning I just brushed her head. The brush worked better at getting the flakes off. I actually sat on my couch one night just brushing her head. When I was done it was all over me! It was grose, but her head looks better!

Neutrogena TGel with the coal tar in it. Smells really nasty, but it works.

When my kids were babies many years ago I would use a bit of baby oil and the softest bristle brush I had and gently rubbed the oil on the cradle cap to loosen and get rid of it.

That's exactly what I did, and it always worked really well.

Breastmilk is also a natural moisturiser. It works well for cradle cap and baby eczema!

Noah had a couple spots where he had a little craddle cap. His doctor told me to use 1% hyrdocortizone cream. It seemed to work well.

DD is 6 years old. I finally took her to a dermatologist for her cradle-cap because everything I tried didn't work. We got rid of the flakes on her scalp by putting mineral oil on her hair and brushing them out with an old toothbrush. We then had to wash her hair with Dawn and bar soap to get the grease out. We call these sessions her 'beauty treatments'. The doctor gave her a prescription shampoo to use and the flakes rarely come back.

We used a "Cradle Cap Treatment Cream" that I found in the baby section at target where all the baby creams are, I'm sorry I don't remember the brand name but it worked well-all gone after 2-3 applications.

It's Gentle Naturals and it works wonders! It worked in 2-3 applications for me as well. I little spendy but so worth it!
