dh thinks I am menopausle.... men

I am not getting sweaty, just my face and body get really really hot, it feels like my blood is boiling, literally. though I am not sweating.

is this hormones? I don't think it is a virus, as I have just had it off and on the last 2 weeks, don't think a virus would last that long, though you never know....

HELP!

How long has this been going on? Breastfeeding really does cause strange things to go on w/hormones. Are you sure you are drinking enough? Any signs of mastitis? I wouldn't worry about menopause just yet. If it keeps up, though, call your Dr. Any swelling?

no swelling and I had a breast infection 6 wks ago cleared up with antibio's....

I just feel so darn hot all of a sudden a couple times a day

My guess is that your little one is beginning to nurse a little less which causes your hormones to get our of whack (aka return to normal or almost normal). Your body has been without them for awhile so it acts a little weird. I have been having the same issue. Mine are trying to regulate so I get a few mood swings, hot flashes and a light 2 day period every 2 weeks. I figure all will balance out soon enough

The other night I was is a tank top and shorts...I was so hot I could not cool off under a fan and had to go with out blankets. It was only 58 degrees outside I am the type that stays covered up with 2 blankets at night except for the hottest days of the year. Tell him your hormones are just trying to return to normal.

I won't have to worry about menopause for many years...ladies in my family got through it closer to their 60s My grandma conceived my mom in her late 50s !!!!! Thought she was going through the change until she felt my mom kick

My dr always said it was normal with BF I mean normal if it isn't every night all the time. You have to remember your levels after having a baby bottom out and then with BF they are always changing as your supply does. I would wake up wet like I took a shower ( yeah I know ewww) I was very concered and so was my dh. It is diffrent for every person but I was hot at night until my dd cut down to only night feedings.
