I wish that I could be more like you! I am worried about #2. With my first one I had a lot of back labor and also some in my stomach. Since it was in both places instead of just one I think that pain was evenly displaced. My contractions never had any consistency! The entire night before they would fluctuate 5 min, 45 min, 20 min, 60 min, 10 min...

My water never gushed when it broke. I had a slow trickle so I didn't even know that it had broken. When we finally decided to go to the hospital because my back hurt so bad and nothing helped (I couldn't even stand for dh to rub my back) I was ready to push.

I was fully dilated, so no drugs even if I wanted them! The doctors cut me and ds ripped me. I had 4th degree tearing which took almost 6 MONTHS to heal.

I think that the thing that worries me the most is that dh works 2 hours away. I am afraid that I will have to drive to the hospital with ds and it will be the two of us. That is my worst case scenario.

I really wish that I could be like you and feel more calm and relaxed. I hate that I stress about everything!!

My second, I did not worry as much. I just wanted her to come. It was totally different than my first and I almost felt like a pro. I was in labor 23 hours with the first and my water broke and I had my second in 4 1/2. I say why worry....
