I am 38 weeks with ds #2. The thing is, I'm really not worried at all about labor. Am I nuts? I know it will hurt, but I know my doctor will do everything she can for me. For those of you with more than 1 kiddo, did you feel much more calm with the others, or am I in for a rude awakening?

I worried with both. #1 because he was my first. #2 because my first ended up being breech and a c-section was required, and with this one I was vbac'ing it drug free and didn't know what to expect.
But really no need to worry. The baby has to come out......Good for you not to worry!

After Bob's birth I felt like I was a professional, lol. I wasn't worried with Jamie at all and it actually went better.

I have to say I am more worried about it this time than I was with the other 2
my youngest I found out a week later that she ws not breathing when she was born. also I keep worrying that I will have a big baby, my other 2 were small (6.6 and 7.9) I think its good you are not worried It should relieve stress on you. I am just a worry wart in general so that is my poblem

I didn't worry about my labor/delivery - I figured nothing could be worse than my pregnancy! I didn't take any classes or anything, and all I cared about was getting the baby out, and both of us being alive, so I was all for anything the nurse suggested, and I wanted that epidural.

I think labor and delivery was the best part of my whole pregnancy. We had a blast!

My second labor and delivery was much easier than my first and I was much more laid back the entire time. If you're not worried, I say good for you!

I am usually a big worrier. I was terrified with my first. The second time I was not scared at all about labor. I had a good experience the first time and I think that was why. I do believe though that things seem to go better for me when I think positively. Keep it up!

I don't worry, now I am on number three, and my first two taught me you have no control over waht is going to happen.
