I know how you feel, I was like that for 16 weeks on both of my pregnancies and it is very rough. My doctor told me to drink ginger tea, that did help some. I took tums also when I was beginning to get a little nauseated. On my second pregnancy I slept when my other daughter did.
Also my doctor just kept reminding me that morning sickness means the pregnancy was going as planned. I know that doesn't help right now. Just hang in there!!

UGH! I feel for you. I was sick the whole 9 months with Bob. I did get an rx for phenergen (sp?) with both pregnancies. It would sooo annoy me when people would say, "Shouldn't you be done with morning sickness?" First of all, it was all day sickness, second of all, yeah, but I'm not, lol.

I feel for you. I had 10 months of morning sickness. Yes, I was sick even after the baby was born. The only thing that helped was spicy Chinese food. I guess that hot chili oil was so potent that it not only cleared my sinuses, but my throat also said that it was so spicy going down, there was no way it was going to make a second trip.

I know how you feel and hope you feel better soon!

I hope dh is entertaining them when he is home!!

I am only 9 weeks -so believe me I am not complaining yet! Last week I had all week sickness. I finally put a call into my midwife and she said mine was probably sleep related, as DD probably wasn't letting me get as much sleep as I did with my previous pregnancy. She suggested I take B-6 (50 mg) and a Unisom Sleep Tablet before going to bed. I also take 25 mg of B-6 when I wake up and just a 800 mg folic acid vitamin (she said the added iron from the prenatal doesn't really help the nauseau so I could try just taking the folic acid for a bit) The B-6 I think is an energy vitamin so that is why I also take the Unisom with it (which says it is non habit forming). I have been going to bed when or before DD goes to bed and I have been feeling great. DD has al;so been staying with relatives this week, which has helped A LOT!

Just wanted to share what is working for me. Good luck and just remember the reward of the new bundle of joy you will recieve in the end!

Just wanted to add that maybe one night someone could help with the girls and you could try to forget about any house chores and go to bed early and see how that leaves you feeling...

Ask your doc for a prescription for Phenergan. If they wrote you one for Zofran, they'll be willing to write you one for this. Zofran if more meant for daytime use and Phenergan at night....but the BEST PART...WAY CHEAPER!!!

Keep your eye on the prize. Yes, morning sickness means your placenta is sucking the life out of you, but that means that it's providing a good one to that precious brewing baby!!!

I never thought I'd see the light at the end of the tunnel, but eventually it came. Yours will, too .
